Cooking Frozen Seafood

All of Premier Seafood frozen products are "flash frozen" to preserve the molecular structure of the meat giving the flesh that moist, yet firm texture.

For thawing, place into a refrigerator for 6-10 hours.

However, some recipes recommend cooking frozen salmon immediately without thawing, which is not only more convenient but can preserve moisture. Click here for instructions on grilling, roasting, pan searing, steaming and more.

Generally, avoid over-cooking seafood. In fact, it is best to remove salmon from heat before it is completely done as it continues to cook during the "resting" stage.
